hi guys,

ive bought two 3800rpm brushless motors to run in my bat boat, can any one tell me what battery (s) to run?

woulda said its pretty impossibly to say without knowing exact spec, like the voice coil in speakers/subs some can handle 50 watts and some 2000+ it depends massivly the model,
easiest way would be to start with say 4 cells and then add a cell each time and keep an eye on the temp of the motor, if it starts to burn up then loose a cell and stick with that.

What motor is it , and do you have speed controllers yet?

the motors are revolution, and i only have a reciever and transmitter, nothing else.

do i have to run special batties?

wouldnt have thought so, the higher the Mah the longer the batterey will last,
if you want to run th motor at say 12 v you just select the type of batterey and make that voltage up with as many as u need

OK what physical size are the motors?
what propshaft setup have you got, what props do you intend to run.

i dont know anything about rc boats, there about 2inches tall, by about half an inch wide, im running outboards aswell.
