Any one coming down then ?? I think we have enough chase boats now as entries have been capped at 45. Always usefull to have spare chaseboat drivers.

I take it that it wasn't team Bananasplits then.

Nope, never expected to win but she did run very well given the testing done beforehand.
Was won by Bernie who runs nice old submerged drive very basic boats.

Nope, never expected to win

Ummmn, how do you expect to win when you stop halfway over there, pull the boat out the water, adjust the drive with a spanner to change the angle, drill water escape holes in the transom, discuss the waves you might get on the way back etc - all with the stop watch still running!

Oh you gonna start taking the P**S as wel now?
At least I didn't drive all the way to Torquay in a snow storm to take some photos with a camera with flat batteries. How did the three photos come out by the way?

This is a 1/5th scale model of the dart 30 - a 30 foot offshore powerboat.

This was to be my Round Britain boat. Late rule changes/clarifications ruled the boat out of Round Britain 08 but we may still make it for future long distance record attempts.

I have put a load of the photographs and stuff on the farm website - http://www.lagranxa.com/dart30 I will finish updating it with more stuff on the weekend.
