Right so we have a number of people bullying me into reorganising this which I'm happy to do.
As I see it there were quite a few ski racers locally interested, a number of round britain entrants with boats that weren't finished, Some guy with a cat who went out specially and bought a land rover to tow his boat and duly snapped his propshaft, a good few from far away and generally a number of people who felt that force nine winds, snow, rain and minus 6 wasn't quite the right weather to run:hugegrin:
We need to stay well clear of JFs do 9th August and avoid the big races so does one of the May bank holidays suit or has anyone got a preference?
Once again Itinery to be something like leaving Greenwich 2pm ish into Chatham, Barbie, Band etc etc.
Just got to do the cap in hand job with Chatham.
Alternatively if a few are up for camping there is the alternative of stopping at the Yantlet which is always a laugh and you can make as much noise as you like all night.
Anybody at AHYC up for helping out with launch arrangements etc?
Soonest replies and I'll get it underway.

Yantlet Creek is now a nature reserve:- its only the birds in there that prevented AYC being swallowed by a new airport. We now have Seahorses and Newts there as well: in the scale of things, powerboaters come well down the list and you won't be able to overnight in there: You probably wouldn't want to anyway, as the niff at low tide is legendary and the mosquitos rise up from the marshes at dusk.
Allhallows YC has a national championship ski race on May 3rd/4th, with an all-day bar & bbq. All visitors are welcome, whether by boat or road.
See you there.
