Yeh Tony Williams Driving and Nigel Jones Observing.
Have you seen Nigel Observer before, He stands up in the boat for the whole race.:bang: :bang: :worthy: Nutter!
Wouldn't find me standing up once at that speed, safer out the back of the boat.

Spotted Nigel standing up from the warmth of the bar - what the hell was he doing? Well done for the results - must have been painfull going through the heavy rain showers!

Nigel says he can see the tip of the ski when he stands up and gets a better feel for how I'm skiing.
The rain was painfull at that speed, bloody face was nub after the race.
We were doing around 2 minute laps.:dizzy:

I have known Nigel for many many years, in his skiing days he skied behind a Yellow Phantom 20 (Texaco) very good skier in his day lots of experience.

Hi Cyco
I was asked if i could help out with safety boat cover for the ski and OCR races after we had finished the racing outside, the tow boat sounded awsome and you hanging off the back, i was dumb founded at the speed, you need certifing IMHO:jaw: Very well done :worthy: :worthy:

Mad matt, nice to meet you and well done, i think it was you i was running along side from 5 to 8 on saturday.

It's a good view form the safety boats you do get a proper feel for the speed, sometimes from the shore it looks a bit slower.

We were meant to be racing offshore on the satuday but a few skiiers and driver decided it looked to rough, I think it was rougher in the bay than offshore.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Friday was not to bad outside, even at bouy 4 it was about 1 to 1 1/2 meters, Saturday bouy 4 was 2 meters and getting worse, and Sunday less than a meter, tide was running at about 4 / 5 knotts, but the waves were very messy.
