If anyone fancies chasing a few models around Torquay tomorrow we will be starting with the first boats away at 10am. we currently have 4 chase boats and 45 + models. Just like the real Cowes Torquay Cowes, this is the scale equivalent with Torquay Brixham Torquay. which will again be running from Torquay around Thatcher Rock & back to Torquay !!
If you want to come and help you need to be launched and reported in on Haldon Pier by approx 9:45am !! If you want to come and watch we will be there all day.

Despite the problems with the Dinghy sailing having little or no regard for the racing line, Dolphins running the entire course line and the model prop puncturing one of the chase boats, it was a really good day out with fabulous weather.
THanks All !!!

Thanks Bob...
I thought it was very impressive of the chase boats on the return leg running through all the dinghy yachts at 30 knots..

Yeh, a bit inconsiderate, 5 knots would have produced a much bigger wake, and then you might have had a couple of the feckers over!
