Dont know much of the Hawk, other than its of the same vintage as the smaller mustang (which with more power i'd love to own).
@ the silly money the current bidder has.....it could make for a real nice boat....being that its got the wrap screen and thus timeless styling.
just my oppinion of course.
wonder what it'd take to make that a 60+ mph boat with lard-burners?
CC;)

Not sure? Would parts be a problem then?
however thats a lot of HP and a 20 mid section for £1,736.05. Would look the nuts on a phantom 21 as well!

this hawk was at davis boat yard by cobbs quay it was sold jan or feb this year by essexboat yards near you cc, i think it came back from spain , but don't think it was the one that was sunk,
called escape looked in good nick, with twin 300 yanmars should
run close to 50 knots TD can get some deals on yanmars or did
I know that sunseeker i saw it in the bloks garden in poole it looks a proper nice boat needs a bit of tlc but well worth it i think.
As for that engine it was pre 1990 before my 275 cosworth came out the only good thing is that mid section y buy that when you could have one of my mint ones
Im sure if its the sameone but i phoned one up in holland was going to go get it but as soon as i mentioned compression tester he stuted and i never managed to get in contact with him again

Would that be the same guy you bought the cozzie o/b from, I recognise the e bay id, I've bought a few merc bits from him in the past.

we bought our first boat from his garden, back in 98, a 1989 sea ray 21 bowrider....
you woudlnt want to spend more than 25k getting this re-engined..... so suppose that limits you too a single yanmar plus fitting....
