like everything from rex.
think of a realistic price
double it
then add a bit
then double it again
and you might be somewhere near but probably have to add a little more.:D :D :D

cool, what colour's are you going for in your boat?
Captain Chaos

Believe it or not, I orginally wanted either a bright orange or white with red metalflake sides boat. If it'd been orange i'd have had a grey & ornge interior.
As it is, I didnt have the balls (& feared i go off it) so i bought a plain white hull. The interior is blood red (not the nicest to be homnest).
So i've got all white/ stainless and anodised red stuff for it. The object was to keep it unfussy, but i may have screwed that. The dark red seats where to try and keep them looking best for the longest amount of time.

They are actually supposeed to be wicked. Gav makes them......they've had several owners dating back from 1656. Gav do a new deck and i'm told (+75hp) they are the most fun you can have with your pants on.

I take it they just rowed em back then, as Karl Keikaefer wasn't gonna be born yet for about 355 years :lol:lol:

I heard you were at its launch at the 1657 LIBS.
Honestly though, i think the hull is of 60's design.....maybe Gav's worked his magic on it though.

I paid about that for mine too from DB Marine in Taunton. It is the double one (trim and lift) mind!!!
Any idea what I can expect to pay for a budget trim tab indicator while were on that sort of subject:cheers:
Jonny you paid more than that for yours from DB
I think you paid around £85
Tony how much you selling the double unit for!!!
JamesM
22-11-2004, 06:05 AM
yeah your right I thought I was the only one who remembered crap like that :D
Anyway 85 is about 75 in boatland where we all spend thousands of pounds without so much as a blink of an eye!!!

The RRP for a twin is £81.66 + vat from Aqua Marine, but I have one in stock from a cancelled order that I'd take £48.00 incl postage and packing. Brand new, never been used!!!

I just happen to have Gaffrig mechanical trim indicators (singles, although you can router the card and make it a double) in both black and white, RRP in the USA is approx $ 249.00 + shipping, duty + vat.
I don't know why I've got these, so £115.00 would buy either, postage included.
Both come with all parts required, except for cables & actuators!!!

Or how about a rather smart "Mercury Racing" indicator, similar to the Gaffrig, just a little larger. This one is already a twin station, possibly motor and lifter. £130.00....
