If you care to look at the Boatmad Gallery (Circuit Album),there are some pics taken in 1969 I think, of racing at Iver.Became aware of circuit racing when a series of races was televised on `World of Sport` with Dickie Davies, prior to `Big Daddy` and` Mick McManus`in the wrestling at 16.00hrs sharp.God these 40yr olds haven`t lived.
I think the pics show some pylons in the back,so you can get an idea of where the M25 now runs through the lake.

Remember it well, raced there many times in the good old days in NE class mono, And yes the M25 runs right through it now and I believe the LMBRC has now disbanded.

I don't know if the lake size was reduced when the M25 came through, but in the early 90's there was definitely still racing going on at Iver, as I used to pass it almost daily on my way to & from Dick Struttons place and regularly caught a glimps of action on the lake.
All gone now though.
