that was quick,thanks for the update. i remember her in 1987 at foulks boatyard on the hamble(the one between the railway bridge and motorway bridge)after the restoration and she looked stunning,the costs of the project that were flying around were massive. from memory it was re-engined with big ivecos,300hp ish each
I actually bought her back in the mid 90's - but much of the restoration work that had been carried out was pretty poor standard - more cosmetic with much structural work being ignored. She had also been kept badly and much more work was also needed on the mechanical side.
It was too much work for me, especially as I was racing back then and that was taking up so much time. So I sold of the diesels to a dealer and the boat went to soem very keen guys who were going to do a proper restoration. I believe they were from just North of Oxford - have lost contact and don't know how far they have got.
