Will suit any boat trailer.
Power needed (12v) from car or remote battery.
Has remote control that plugs in on a 4-5 meter lead.

Very little use.
Was bought for my Bernico but decided didn't need it as my trailer is very low and the boat glides on with ease.

They take too much power to plug into the trailer electrics - it would toast the cable!

Most come with a lead and thermal cutout which you have to attach directly to the battery. :cheers:

Cooks, I wouldn't think he means pluging into the trailer socket itself, probably has a secondary socket with a heavier feed, like many caravan tow vehicles have.

I'm probably wrong (again!) but I thought those extra feeds were for charging caravan batteries and stuff, and ran off the normal fusebox?

Had one for a windsurfing trailer once with a built-in beer fridge!

Also had a winch once and the instructions said it had to be attached directly to the battery ..........

Yep you would need to connect this straight onto a battery.
This could be mounted onto the boat trailer in a small box or battery cage.
The auxcillary socket as mentioned above could then be used to charge this.
