I bought it with a pair of brand new optimax 225s strapped on the back,nearly sank it first time out,its a big old heavy lump and only fit for prob ski racing,took the engines off and sold hull and trailer to a lad in scotland about this time last year,its had a merc 200 and a mariner 200 on it since then and changed hands at least three times since going up north.

What's the transom like? Strong enough for a couple of 300's? Any tabs?

No it's not the same boat. Darren's Fletcher was much later, this looks like one of a pair built for the Coes. One was red and the other yellow.

Its not kevlar either plus the transom had issues before i bought it/sold it on,at some point in its life somebody made a homemade dash for it and hand painted it,not the original dash /screen.Trailer is allright,new braked bramber heavy duty hitch on it,galvanised chassis and painted.
