has anyone got any more inside information on this years event as to a time table,because im just starting to think of accomodation and ferrys and the like

I like to see a bit of "planning ahead", but it's 14 months away still!

One question? Is anyone official going to do anything about the rag and stick biggots changing tack in front of the race boats this year? Its fekkin dangerous.

I'm either to slow, or possibly to quick for you lot!

What I meant was that if your starting to think of accomodation and ferries for "this years" event, your leaving it a bit late! IMHO of course.

And VT, what exactly do you think the officials could do about the "rag and stick biggots"?

Well unless it's the start or on a turn marker .......................:no:

I can recall a race at Allhallows off we went from the start 30 + abrest slap bang into a dingy race 3 miles further down, they didn't read the notices nor the club that that organised it didn't speak to PLA. There were bloody powerboats & dingy's everywhere, they got wetter than we did. :dizzy:

accomodation booked,ferry booked,but still no idea when we are racing,or if it will be f200 or basic

Not sure about F200 but I was told over the weekend there will be a basic.

ok i have just found out that there is a basic race on at cowes,and at the moment it will be on the sunday,and its round the island again with one small lap off egpyt point. big hospitality suite at egpyt point aswell this year,i guess thanks to the p1s........so all is good

I've just been told in the last 15 minutes basically the same thing although the quote was "almost certainly Sunday".

Seems you got better info than I did.
