Does anyone know any details of the accident last weekend in Weymouth? I understand a lad from 'K'class had a spill, and is quite badly hurt.
very sad, I hope all turns out well.
All I've found is this:

Just goes to show, you don't have to be doing 120mph for it to be a dangerous sport!
Any idea which 'K' class type it was?
Sad indeed!
K200 class
Thanks lad for your comments. We're all feeling it at the moment, but as you say it can happen at any time/speed.
Details will be released officially in time.
regards to you all and thanks again for you concerns.

That's a real bummer! I hope it doesn't spell the end of the kids class.

Looking at the track record so far it shouldn't do.
When you compare it to some of the other classes it makes you wonder why people go back to getting tossed about in the surf, flipped over at 120mph etc.
We still have two national events in the calandar and pretty well all the competitors are up for it, it's also a mark of respect to the lad from his fellow competitors.
On that note I feel that we should not discuss further on this thread and again I'd like to thank you all for your understanding.
Regards,
JBP
