F200
If it's a stock 200 I think you should be able to race in F200.
Otherwise it'll be basic races all with way.

Typical!! (of a sarkie norvern git) wants to cheat already!
It includes the entire 200hp fleet -
3C (Ian Stirling, B23's, argos, Adam's cat etc)
Ribs (Cookee, Andy Twemlow etc)
And any 'production' boats like yourself - so far only had 1 revenger rib.
Have a quick shuftie of this:

dunno, i'm only messin
Since the xr2 and xs200 also have offshore mids, I would expect (and hope) it'd be OK, but you'd need to check, but dunno with who cos it's all gone very quiet at the moment.

Don't think therewould be a problem with that.
Guess any decision would be made by the Formula 200 steering committee - which if I remember correctly is Rory Power, Brian Peedell, Bob Irwin, Richard Strawford.

The engine would be fine - it would be in production class along with Phantom 18's etc, the minimum length for class III 2 litre / 200 hp is just over 21', but I assume from the number it's 6 metres?

the actuall length in metres is 6.4m:confused:

Are you coming down to Littlehampton this weekend?
If so best that you meet up with all of the F200 team there.

Sorry only got an old rule book in front of me? (2001) - 2 litre is 6.2 metres minimum, 625kg minimum weight + .65kg per cm.

thats me found out then
For 3C - agreed.
For F200 "Production", there was discussion regarding length, but I notice it's not in the guidelines, just states (paraphrasing a bit) 200hp hardboat.

At the Safety & Technical meeting we agreed to lower the minimum length to 18ft to encourage all of those Marshans, Rings, Phantoms of under 21ft with 200HP motors, running on a basic type course.
Thanks Simon.
Guess a member of the F200 committee needs to insert it in the guidelines then.
