ahh because theyre yanmar?? why dont they use mercury diesels? do they not perform?

'Cos the combination of the Yanmar 300hp & the Bravo 3 or 3x leg is not noted for its longetivity;)

The Yanmar is popular cos its light weight (comparitively). Dunno about Mercruisers but the only RIB I ever came across with one in was a "brick outhouse" Delta. Definately not a racing machine!
