:D Most of you will have heard of the Gumball Rally, its a race, no hold on I'll get myself in trouble! It's a Rally across..well wherever really, this one was Paris for a Party and the start flag from the Eiffel Tower, Spain....Real Madrid football club for lunch and then Marbella for a grande buffet and party. Then to the port to get shipped across to Morocco...lunch in Casablanca then to Marrakech for a ball and big party, back through Fez, to a different Port, overnight crossing......
through Barcelona for an enclosure for the Grand Prix but we all missed it because most of us were caught by the police for illegal racing and then another party and then to Cannes for the Start of the film festival, suite in the Carlton hotel...party...for a change and lots of cameras and all that shit!!!

For all of you that like fast things, which is all of you reading this.
You should seriously think about next years Rally. My car was a Bentley GT, and I did a leg in porche turbo, either way, we spent a lot of the time at 170mph, broke 2 road blocks and got caught by the cops at the 3rd!!!

2 Ferraris were wrote off, 2 Porche Turbos, a Viper a Noble and a Cosworth barrell rolled 10 times!! No one was hurt but the king allowed us to have no speed restrictions in Morocco so it was a touch wild!!

165 performance cars, even a few ENZOs and some so rare I'd never even seen them before!! 3000miles over 6 days.

Have a look at my site for all the cars and the story.....it was glitz, glamour, fast cars, fast men, fast woman, the best hotels and parties and shit loads of fun!! And good average speeds.....

www.sarahdonohue.com

get a team together next year and come and play. I'm still choosing my car for next year. As long as it doesn't struggle upwards of 150mph then that's cool. But they request it's a 4-wheel drive because its over the desert. My earlier thought of a 360 Spider have been shattered!!!

come and play, its just up your street!!!

even after some of this the word performance still means the same!!!
Are you not interested in fast cars? Or can you not get your hands one?
What do you drive, I'm intrigued............

should you ever venture out to the USA to the races, everything all sorts of goes together, bikes, boats, cars......chill and enjoy the experience of performance, come and do a track day with me:D at Silverstone and I'll be your teacher for the day. I'll even let you use the Viper I have for the next month as long as you pay for the tyre change!!! How kind of me.... she's red and well tuned............

you'll love her more than your boat!

Hey Sarah, things have obviously moved on. I saw you at the wheel of a smart car less than 2 years ago and you looked like a granny driving, vice like grip on the wheel and nose pressed against the windscreen!!!!

Must have taken you ten minutes to reverse out of the parking space at Plymouth, boy, how things change!!!!!!!!

yes....much joy!!! i'll not say too much coz i've been burned and got upset far tooo many times.

Lets just say that if you know of any cheap boat parts...like a 23ft trailer, hydraulic steering, bow tank fittings p/up etc it'd be much appreciated. PM if you like.

Noddy, was in fact my mate Dave, or 'Happy Giraffe' as he is affectionately known....he was well lashed @ that stage.

Full Itinerary

1 x Diablo (which actually left yesterday)
1x Fiat Gammina - noddies wheels
1 x Cherokee sport (for sale)
1 x fiesta
1 x Monkey bike,
2 x fiat pandas, 1 is a 4x4…don’t ask!
1 x Vitara fat boy – pleeeeeese don’t ask!,
1 x Audi
1 x Fletcher
1 x box trailer, containing various shite which includes bombard aerodeck & 15hp Yam
1 x unknown single seater boat
1 x 14ft dateline
1 x sit-on lawnmower

Some other shite as well!

most of the above isnt mine thankfully....but it all gets in my bloody way. The rare motors are a close friends,

I've also had the pleasure of being chief car-polisher to his Rolls Royce Phantom (chasis no.12!!), A Dellage and an original 600hp Rs200 Ford Motorsport........like a bad curry........gave me pains in my chest for a week:drain::laugh:

Not an original - definitely couldn't affard one of those!

As far as jobs goes I sort of retired and now run the BananaShark empire with Kevin the Kitten - so far extending to race and soon to be released leisure boats, corporate clothing, stickers, banners, shop signs, corporate clothing and building boats for other people when we've got a spare minute or 2!

Dicky boy Strutton (AKA owner of the US1-46(s) I used to do a little work for) had one of those noddy cars sitting in his garden, a nice little red one, very cool.

What monkey bike have you got Lawrence? I have a 75' Suzuki RV125 with 650 miles on the clock, it was bought by a pall of mine new in 75 for his kids to ride round the garden, and ended up getting left outside for years. So it now needs a re-paint/restore, but is so original it's amazing....must get round to doing it (amongst many other things).

Captain Chaos
21-05-2004, 02:50 AM
The one in my garage is sort of my bro's, although i seem to rememeber several 'loans' around the time of its purchase.

Its not an original, its one of those new cheap chinky imports that sprouted up in the last couple of years....think they're made under liscence.

It was a 75cc for about 35 miles, then it became a 90 for about another 15 miles, now its a 110 and is in bits.

Done about 100 miles all told and is presently unusable, thats about par for the course where by brothers concerned!!

Remember, when you sort yours, they only look good in rusty-orange metalflake!!:bolt:

The Noddy is a Fiat Gammina and the originals are supposed to be bloody rare....especial RHD. of coarse its only a rebodied 500. That ones got an abarth kit or somfink....a whopping 15hp i think!

(about 3 more than me mower!)

It's amazing what happens when someone gives you the keys to any car you want, a racing driver as an instructor and around 40 track days..............and hands you a manual and says, 'read about it before you drives it!'

oh baby baby baby............i love my cars..........and I love your cars ... i just love cars........

:D Howdy!!!
My journalism...? Well!
I've written Childrens stories for ever..I have a stack of them. But I have 2 Degrees, the first degree I took was in Fashion and textiles. My 2nd degree is in Journalism and scripts, although I started journalism before I trained, but trained because then I can't have any half wits slagging me off for getting lucky, which is often what happens!!

I started writing for Sportsboat about 5 years ago or more..before it had any racing pages. I lay down the foundations for what it has now, when I first started they very nearly shyd away from racing but I wrote a good story and palyed my cards right and look at Sportsboat now.....Full racing pages and everything, although the editors and staff have changed somewhat:cry: I miss some of the old crew!!

I also co-write scripts for 2 travel shows and also now for Mens Health...my last one was 20,000 words, although they arent to print all that...there were workouts and diet sheets. I'm a qualified PT and Nutritionist! and piss artist:brown:

My pal just passed her Masters Degree, except I did all her written work....so I'm a proud owner of a Masters aswell, but we keep that quiet! Or she will fail!

So there's your answer babe. I'm a hard worker and contrary to popular belief, I'm a pretty intelligent woman although I say so
myself:laugh:
I've just started a home study course on Criminal Law. Why? I'm just curious and one can never have too many qualifications... I love learning:dizzy:

if there;s something you want to do. Just go out and do it. I've never missed out on anything or regretted any decision....

LOL saretta......xx
