Anyone have an idea what the Solent forecast is for tomorrow..............any experienced :seaman: want to gimmie an idea whether or not i should be bov'd to tow me boat all the way down from sunny essex?

the rubbish website i use doesnt indicate IOW region to be having all that good a seastate

Sorry All, Answered it meself. this is MET Office 24hr forecast from 17.00 Today. Think I'll be coming without boat!

Scotty: I'll make my final decission in the morning. But I gotta be honest; I coming with Ms Chaos and she's not been in a fastish boat before.............never been in my phantom; so i dont fancy her 1st time being tomorrow if she's gonna get soaked, freezing & bounced about all over the place!

+ its in the region of 2hrs quicker for me to come without boat and God knows how much cheaper.

Na, my boat is carpeted etc, and getting it soaking wet just at the start of the winter aint clever!

It's also a lot of aggro craning in/out, and all the cleaning up and general pissing about, for one day out boating (gotta be back for 4.30 to catch the crane also) so if the forecast for Sunday is still shite in the morning, I'll bail.

no, only got the .WMV version at the mo, I do have a larger (190meg) wmv, version you can have, but it won't play on your machine if it's an old shitter.

internet version is 60meg.
