Just a Jellied eels fan !!!
Billy is still keeping well spoke a few months ago was thinking of selling up in Hammersmith and taking retirement in Ireland.
Good to hear...that was a dreadful place to go racing...although I do remember a great race in 86, neck and neck with Chris Peel (Sea Pea on this forum)

Just got off the lav where I have all of my great thinking moments, That must be London & Manchester Assurance in the background, think it was the only red P21 running that season
Yep...I remember getting loads of stickers and a T Shirt from Bruce that day, your Dad used to make sure I got all the freebies from other teams! (I was only 13!)

Well, Ciao I guess that if you were there then so was I ! Can't say that I remember it vividly though ! Were you only 13, I was ancient then at 18 ! All lost in the mists of time and too many years of racing !
congrats on the new job Simon.

Thought that I was the long shot but appeared not. Can't for the life of me work out why I volunteered for it though ! Could be for three years too ! Now where's the PB1 ? ...

There probably isn’t a better-qualified person, or racer.
If your posts on this site show anything, you just love to go racing – whether it be 3B or Class One.
I can’t think of anyone better suited for the job.
Dad has asked me to send best regards!

I disagree! Simon lacks the diplomatic and man-management skills seen so vividly in characters like Roger Severy & Richard Bendy. :lol:lol:
Well done Si, ;)
You'll get inundated with offers from up n coming P1 teams now, who want a Dredge-type well connected and 'influential' team member :D

On reflection, that last post was probably a bit strong, and rather difficult for you to respond to. :bang:
