I have loads of pictures from the Diamond Race, i will try to post them over the weekend

:devil: The diamond race was awesome !! :devil:

- the Untouchable with that Lambo V12 roars like thunder !
- the senior race had an absolute thrilling finish (Watchout nr 78 came in 2nd, only few meters short to win after a great catch up race)
- boat parade with tribute to Karl Brooks... all boat engines stopped, all skiers and drivers standing up... the silence was breathtaking while his brand new and stunning looking Bernico F1 TS nr 222 passed by... what a moment !
- awesome start of the F1 race. All boats passing by going @ full throttle on flat water. The Bernico F1 single big block from Kenny Weckx took the lead, just in front of the new Bernico F1 TS double small block from Darren Kirkland...
- Todd Haig had an electrical problem on the engine. He was working his way up through the field but he had to retire after just 2 or 3 laps... pitty.
- raceconditions were very hard : a lot of waves and backwash -> and therefore beautifull pictures of boats and skiers jumping out of the water...

Haven't been there for years, glad to see it's still as mad as it ever was and the health and safety brigade haven't been able to stop it. It's an event, like Rouen 24, that everyone should go to at least once.
