Anyone got Sky+ and a DVD recorder?

I moved house this year, and don't have cable or satellite TV any more. It's not something that I miss at all, but I've just realised that I have no way of watching the Dakar Rally coverage which is only on Eurosport.

Is there a kind person out there who could record the lot onto DVD for me? Please? Pretty please?

Vid would be fine for me, but DVD would be better because I'd like to send it to some friends in the states after I've watched it.

Another way

I cancelled S*Y some good while ago when I finally got around to getting broadband.
A friend, living abroad, told me that you could download television progs onto your PC.
I watch stuff like Boston Legal, House, Lost 20 or so hours later than they aired in the States.
Every new movie is available, and loads of sporting events.
I now download progs, turn them into a GP3 file, copy them onto a memory card and watch the shows on my mobile whilst waiting for customers in my car!
Fast Internet download speeds are going to create a major headache to movie/TV producers. I.e. lack of revenue.
But that was said of Napster, and pirate went (had to go) legal, the record companies are now selling online, and the Apple Ipod is one the most commercial products going, and for the first time in years we are getting a “Top Twenty” that is not manipulated.

PM me for details on how to do the above.

I was convinced it was somebody from boatmad with a wicked sense of humour and a house in Fordingbridge, but that nice mr kinnit told me the ip address did resolve to Swansea!

However I am delighted to tell you that the Codprawn does not have the honour of being Welsh
