apple Iphone is £169....

Apple I phone was £269, but Carphone Warehouse and o2 stores have cut the price to £169.

So if you bought one a £269 you could be pissed off, but you can claim the differance back if you bought your phone after 18 March.

We've bought 14 of em at work! The phone has always been for sale without a contract, the contract has always been a separate transaction. Dead easy to activate on any network. However the proper contract with unlimited data isn't too bad anyway.

They are dumping the old stock new version is out in June with more bells & whistles on it. If you want the new features, might be worth hanging on. replacement is going on at the original price. Hence the cut at the current time

You need to buy the phone and then unlock it for any network. We have guys here with them on all networks.

The unlock software (which is free) opens them to work on any network except '3', so yes, Orange, Voda, o2, etc is no problem.

They are now very easy to unlock compared to when they first came out.

Mine is operating on Vodafone.

What sort of price can you pick them up for off-contract?

Cheap iphone

I guess you just don't register with itunes before you get it unlocked and then you have a network free phone with no contract?

(I am happy to be corrected if this is wrong!)
