That one is TD's D100, mines the D70s.

At this stage, i've no idea what the differences are (except the price)

Supposedly the d100 is alloy and d70 is polycarbonate.

I believe this image was taken with a D70 (model before D70s) and shows clearly that the camera will be far better than the photographer's ability in my case.

If its ONLY polycarbonate, I'd have opted for the chest of draws

VERY impressive picture all the same.......should come in handy for lots of 'action' shots......................NO! not THAT kind of action, Dirty boy!

When I got my D70 I was a little worried about its "plasticy" feel compared to my old film slr cameras.

However, I have dropped it in the boat twice in the last few months & it's still working fine.

Excellent camera the D70s, good choice.

The main differences between the D70 & the D100 are:

The batteries & the fact that the D100 has professional settings only (for experienced users) where as the D70 has manual settings and Idiot settings for numpty's.

Both take very good pictures though.

Is that a VR 80 - 200mm lens you have with your D70s?
