Bloody typical ain't it

Yet again, I missed the UPS man by 5 minutes! Everytime I'm due a delivery, it arrives a day earlier than expected, and I miss him by a couple of minutes. The only good news is that I can hang on to my £400+ duty and vat until Monday.

So did this one arrive two days earlier than it was officially due to arrive?

Nah, the company sent it UPS express instead of standard, so it arrived today instead of early next week!

Luckily, it's bits for customers and not my own, so the extra expense of Express doesn't bother me!

Your guess is as good as mine, I've given up asking for tracking no's, as I usually get someone elses, or they leave a digit out!

Besides, it makes it more of a suprise!

Feck, I wish that was my problem. Citylink turned an overnight into 14 days, it arrived 9.00pm! and they emailed the sender to tell him it was being returned undeliverable. Wednesday's overnight hasn't arrived yet and it's a holiday Monday so it'll be Tuesday next. Overnight must mean something different to some folk.

I have some special oils coming over from the USA. The oils were bad enough, $160 per gallon, but the postage for non-ship shipping ( I think it is 5 day shipping ) was $380 for 4 gallons!!

yep ICAO classes most oils & greases as "Haz Mat" (hazadous Material) so airlines charge accordingly. rule mix only lets you freight certain items on a flt you cannot mix & match- but have to pick & mix. It does get a bitt ott sometimes but thems da rules.
Govt Acft are exempt so they can carry bombs........As a poor example you could ship weedkiller, bi.............& vingar but not on the same flt just incase in mixed due leakage...... boom. left out one ingredient for safety coz I know what you lot are like
