Awesome! What's it like over there? I've always imagined America as just being flat out awesome, something's telling me it probably isn't quite as great as I imagine or everyone would live there!

It's much like living anywhere really, there are things you like and things you don't. Felt the same way during 19 years in England.

Oddly enough, I've always been very partial to Guernsey.

Also lived in the USA for a few years and followed a nomadic existence mainly due to work commitments in Dubai, Argentina, China, Cyprus and Sweden)

however..

I agree that the 10 years I lived in Guernsey were among the best (although I was a lot younger and after 20 odd years you tend only to remember the good bits!!)

I haven't been back for about 19 years - is the island generally still the same???
