Those are clips from the flight test certification program.
Demo of cross wind caperbility.
Basically they go off and come up with a fighure in knots for Max crosswind limit to establish the landing gear side loading. they normally top off around the 20 knots mark as most airports set you into wind anyway. Thats 20 kts uncorrected you can happly come in with 50 bloody kts as long as you kick off the drift just at touchdown. notice in all the shots no attempt was made at that correction.
Sorry boring ya all now.
It not really a proper crosswind till ya flying the approach looking out the side window anyway..... yee Ha........

Edit Pilots dont get brown trousers or scared but can be very impressed, Look up the Alaskan crash report for the MD83 the off LA on the web thats very IMPRESSIVE. Inverted 2-3g rolling dive with not a fekken hope of recovery but trying to the end.

It interested me that the pilots wanted to divert, firstly to a better runway, and secondly cos there were more suitable runways on that route - but the tech didn't want them to. Always listen to the guy who's arse is on the line!

A rather gusty gay in Lisbon, Fair bit of terrain there which if very windy can cause a few problems, high cross wind , wet runway (which reduces x wind limit) landing long also pilot threw the approach away. Fink theres a drop at the end of that runway as well so ya dont want to balls it up to bad.
A little side issue on the airbus is you must have weight on gear & wheel spin up to get brakes, so if you are on the fekken ground & aquaplane, no wheel spin up no brakes for I think is about 3 secs that a bloody long time as you watch the landing lights go by. The brought out a Service Bulletin to upgrade the system to reduce the delay which brings it down to 1.5 secs. Lufthansa Overun was the example of it which highlighted the issue.
