Devon Superyacht capital?

This article points to Devon aspiring to become the capital of Superyacht building ... note to Cookee stick a 0 on the 34' and you'll sell em like hot cakes ... nice bote though, don't think I could trailer it, so I wouldn't buy it

Yeah, its a tidy bit of kit which I've been lucky to go on but the press reports are way off the mark in terms of cost. This will be the last new build to come out of Babcocks in Plymouth and they have sold the the name "devonport yachts" to a cornish shipyard.
The picture of it in the friget complex gives an idea of the scale of it when you consider that normally used for the refit of warships and it was very tight squeeze when they finally moved it into the basin. The swimming pool and outdoor hot tub are works of art.
