Digital Camera
looking at buying a new digi camera
does anyone know if this one is any good or can they suggest a good one for around the £250 to £300 mark

I have a sony (cant remember model....could be P150) but the spec is almost identical. Macros are doing the W1 similar features but a chuncky case for £199 at the moment.
In truth, I would without doubt purchase a canon Ixus 4/5mp jobbie. They are superb. JF just got one, when i see it in the the flesh I felt gutted i bought the sony.

right well basically i have £300 worth of comet vouchers but i want a big memory card too. whats the max length of video footage you can do with the canon because the sony you can video till your card is full and its 30 fps

yep.............biggest changes in the 2nd generation ixus's. are
they've ditched compact flash,
they're half the size!
bigger screen
unlimited higher res avi's
stainless (or ali) cases (cant remember which)

This was my choice, Nikon 7900. 7.1 meg, and with a 1gb SD card it'll take nearly 15 minutes of video at 640x480 (30 frames per second) and at it's lowest setting, 160x120 it'll do 1hr 40 mins!
