Dongles

Going to Le Mans for the 24 hour race - can anyone recommend an internet dongle - especially for roaming and for use in the UK as well?

Thanks

I've used the Three offering and now have Vodafone and they both work very well. Although the Vodafone one is supposed to be faster I have to say I had a better experience with the Three modem from a coverage/performance aspect.

If your going to use it outside of the UK, check the prices as you might find it cost big dollars.

Regards Mark

I've used my vodafone payg dongle in france, and it don't arf use the airtime up quick! I'd buy a french one when you get there, it'd be alot cheaper.

Thanks guys - had the advice to get a French one over there on the BeerMountain forum as well - they have a great sense of humour - looking forward to the event as it's my first time!

I 'think' that the voda USB dongle I have makes a set charge per 24 hours for international roaming, rather than a £/meg charge.

I have a feeling its about £7/24 hours in Europe, but could have that wrong, as I just try not to use the fkkr when I'm overseas, as I always seem to get bitten.
