Guernsey Hotel Reccomendations

Hi Me and Stewart are thinking of going to guernsey for a few days in September.

Can anyone from over there reccommend any good places to stay/places to avoid?

We are hoping to go over to Sark for a day, any other places worth visiting while we are there?

The Yacht Hotel in our town is very good.
Just mention the Guernsey Powerboat Association, you should get good rates..
