Guernsey's next female powerboating star!!
Mia Sophie Larbalestier was born on sat 28th March at 8.30pm, weighing 5lbs 4 oz. It wasn't an easy one, Sophie endured 30 hours of labour, 2 attempts at inducing and finally an emergency c section after Mia's heartbeat dropped to 60bpm.
She's absolutely gorgeous and a true credit to her wonderful mum. I'm so proud of them both!
James

It's just the most awesome thing in the the whole world, when you get to see that "Ikle" face for the first time and you get the first finger grip.
Congratulations to you both. Another of lifes great adventures begins.
Dont make the mistake I made saying.
"You know with that scar & ya nipples it looks just like a smilie face from a distance"

Thats a bit scary then!!
I'm gonna have a fight on my hands getting her involved in powerboating with living over here - i can see it being expensive - but it'll be worth it!!

Congrats mate, I've just become the father of a one-day-bowie-knife-wielding-girlie-RIBster here in Canada. It's an incredible feeling. Don't worry, they tell me that eventually you get used to the sleep deprivation............

Nice one James
my missus had the same traumatic experience with our little munchkin 4 years ago. Neither of you will have time to dwell on it though 'cos the journey has begun!!! And it's a great one if my experience is anything to go by. Hope you found time to 'wet the babies head'
