Home CCTV prosecution

Hi just wondered if anyone here has had a successful CCTV prosecution with evidence supplied to police from home CCTV? Interested to know as everyone I have spoken to has not managed to get the police to convict.

Thanks in advance having similar issues at the boat club!

Best

Stewart

cctc

Had a little fu@ker bring his car into my workshop for a diagnostics check. The phone rang so I had to pop in the office and the little shit grabbed my snap on wheel gun and put it under his coat. All this was on cctv when I looked back at the end of the day. I rang the police who eventually turned up took a statement and a copy of the footage. Two weeks later they called me to say no further action can be taken because you don't see him get in the car with it WTF . They said he could of put it back out of shot of the camera !!!!
As I had his address I drove past his house some months later and saw his car all burned out karma is a bitch

This is what i figured having same useless response from the Police it really is "criminal" because when someone gets robbed in your street Police knock everyone's door telling you to get CCTV but do not act on it.

Friend got burgled and car nicked all on CCTV with there getaway car and close up face shots police did nothing.

Thanks for the replies

In the news today the Police said they have to cut their costs & will no longer be concerned with 'petty crime'. Well Mr Plod did you not know, you've been doing this for years!
