Angry .i. .h.a.t.e.

FKKIN COMPUTERS!
I keep having to reinstall windows because it messes up!

At the moment i cant get onto my hotmail inbox(click sign in and it goes blank)
Outlook(just makes the "Windows XP Exclamation" noise and nothing happens)
word pad- same as outlook.
its pissing me off !!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just filling out a hugeeeeee form thing about 5 pages long and was on the last bit and the internet decided it wanted to close !
Computer is Athlon 64- 3500
Windows xp (32bit/standard- tried the trial 64 bit but it diddnt have any of the drivers!)
I have all my files on 2x400 gig Sata Hard disks and my opperating system runs on a 100 gig laptop hard drive with a 44pin-desk top ide to 42pin laptop.
-saves me loosing all my stuff when windows crashes!

HOW CAN I STOP IT FKKIN UP ALL THE TIME!??????

I have Nortan anti virous, ad addware se thing.

HELP!!!!!!!!!

p/s i have 2gig(4x512) of pc2 4200 ram - make offer

I hate Nortan too ! i just thought i would give it another try but its let me down again!
My mate told ma about AVG a while ago aswell....
have you gota link?

Also i have a trial edition of xp 64 bit which do ya think there would be more drivers online once its installed?

imho never ever ever ever ever use Norton, used a genuine copy and had nothing but trouble - ended up losing everything...twice! AVG great free product or use McAfee.

What brand is the ram? roughly how much you looking for?

McAfee for me. Have this in the office and home only once did virus get through and the IT boys sorted it. Bearing in mind its a cab office and all sorts of shit gets downloaded by the boys.

Just re-installed windows again, HOPEFULLY wont have any more problems this time.
Have installed AVG and the google pack which includes anti-spyware and stuff

no one want to make ma an offer for my 2gig pc2 4200 ram?(gotta funny feeling about me saying "make an offer" )

If you go AVG install free version 7.5 not 7.1 they are stopping support on 7.1 in Jan

Gotta agree. After the previous thread where people were very positive about AVG, I've installed both their av and spyware software. Am pretty impressed with it all round.
