Lookin at your links John, I like the way the road pilot also displays the speed limit of the road you're on!..excellent
That's the feature that I particularly liked about it. Most of the others don't seem to do this.

The new Road Angel seems to be very popular -- there's a 3 week wait on new orders!

What it needs to do, is only alert you IF your breaking the limit on that particular road, go on Jonny, invent it, could be your future.

I say this coz the one anoying fault with mine is, if your stuck in a slow moving trafic jam, approaching a camera, or maybe even stationary, the fkkn thing keeps beeping whilst you sit, and it has no 'mute' button, my sugestion above would cure this very anoying feature.

Titanium handle gotta have it!!

To use a Tony Davis phrase, "I want one so bad it hurts"

Got a Road Angel as well and mine does the same thing in traffic - If it gets too annoying I pull the plug out! That reminds me must get a new fuse!

I bought a Road Angel 2 in the week and it doesn't have the problem of bleeping in any traffic as it doesn't work.

Spoke to BlackSpot through the week and there going to replace it. Impressed with their support although it takes a while for them to ring you back.

In the RA2 it has a feature, if it worked in the first place, of not bleeping if your doing less than 15mph as it assumes you are going too slow so trip any camera.

Interesting to see that the GPS read out looks nothing like my speedo ( refrerring back to Matts picture )

Interesting! I can't see why they don't all have added to the database of cameras, what the speed limit on that particular road is, then it only needs to bleep IF you're going near, or above that limit, twood be far better, mebbe the RA3 will do that
