Yeah but at the end of the day bungee jumping if done properly aint really that dangerous is it. And if its not that dangerous then is it really that scary? Height doesn't really make much odds either does it? If you land on your head from 100ft or 700ft the result will be much the same. I've never done a bungee jump but I reckon I would give it ago. I can catagorically say however that I wouldn't ride down that feckin pass on my bicycle, specially as I'm still geting used to my new clip-in pedals/shoes

A bungee jump off a bridge into a 700ft vally still rates pretty high with me on the **** THAT scale! Although I do see your point as your 99.9% sure your going to be OK on a bungee jump.
On the other had you have been out with Burty in his P20 which really is an event that holds a 50/50 chance of it all going belly up!

You sure? Look more like normal rucksacks to me - although been a while since strapped a parachute on so I might be mistaken.

Yeh. And unlike JBD, I won't ever be doing a bungee jump either, though I'd happily jump outta a plane again. I would love to have a go at this, too.

Why would you jump out of a plane but not do a bungee jump?

Definately normal rucksacks, to loose fitting to be parachutes!!! Even if they were chutes an unplanned base jump that starts with you falling off your mountain bike is still a good way to kill yourself!!!

Bungee Jumping is just in my "very silly" category. I think the risk of haemorage/stroke is pretty high.

Why do you think that? The physical stresses on the body from a bungy jump are pretty mild, especially compared with powerboat racing!

Yeh, but I don't mind a broken arm dislocated shoulder etc as much as I'd mind being a gibbering fool. I mean, look what happened to you!
