MadBoat banned for Hellcat...

After a trip to the 'track day' with the member known as MadBoat, I can report that these little boat things are fun to drive. They can turn really sharply and accelerate like nothing. I do however feel I am a little heavy for them - at least for the 90hp version.

MadBoat is banned from talking about or driving one ever again.

If you get the chance ( yes, £250 a person is steeep ) you should take one out for a jolly, just dont try turn right to quickly....

Same engine as our E9000 too, though with 2 up and running offshore probably not as quick as you experienced.

So Marc, does that mean you now have a certificate to show you are a "Racing Powerboat Driver"?

Actually she beat everyone. The fastest lap overall.

She also lapped JP and his boat, but JP did say he had engine trouble.....

Well, I suppose at least it's a different excuse to "I chose the wrong prop"! the usual 'Losers excuse'.

Damn Duck and Hellnation.....

Guess what the bloody hell we are doing tomorrow, again.

It seems that someone light, tiny and small really really really likes the track days, and we are off to Lagoooona Park again tomorrow. Except this time she says she is going to take it 'seriously'. I shudder to think what that means... Except I have to get her helmet out of storage, organise some cusions so she can reach the throttle ( aparently why she went so 'slowly' last time ) and get her a set of racing shoes.

I race in my cats, why cant she race in trainers?

Anywho, it looks like I may be involved in circut racing this season

I suppose it is really good fun - anyone else been to a track day yet?
