No phones

I suppose it's the price you pay for living in the sticks, we've lost both fax and phone line due to localised flooding, won't be back on for maybe 2 days cos BT are just so busy.

Weird thing is my broadband still works!

I am, sort of. Still sorting out my mids for the cat, polishing me lowers, and spending ages packing and wrapping me e bay sales.

Remind me not to list loads of items at the same time will ya!

Funny you should say that TD. We have a similar problem with being remote and the last time we lost the phone the engineers said that broadband will work on a single wire. Apparently, it doesn't matter which wire of the pair.

Tis true. Broadband can work off a single wire, it does not need two.
