Range Rover Sport Problems
My mate's bent his Range Rover Sports Chassis, its on 07 plate.
He goes back to Range Rover dealership and says what you gonna do about this,
Range Rover have now pointed out in the small print that they are not designed to be used offroad with more than 1000kg towing.
This means offroad as slipways, Horse boxes in fields etc.
My mate has now written to 5th gear and Top Gear to see if they will take it on,
What do you guys think?

The other week he took it back saying it was handling funny, it was them who noticed (said) it was bent (twisted)
He has not ad any luck to be fair to him he bought a Disco 3 last year again brand new, started getting all kinds of electrical problems to the point it would not start, Mr Landdover comes along to his house plugs in the lap top and write away unplugs it, too many faults for me he said.
So its taken away and my mates told its to be replaced with a new un,
My mate asks for an upgrade to RR Sport and there aving none of it.
He was told drive it out the showroom turn it around and come and trade it in,
so this is what hes gone and done, now its handling like a heap of crap.
He does use it off road with a trailer as he competes over the uk racing quads. (1 large trailer and a few big racing quads)
The bit thats bent is where the towbar is fitted at the rear.

For serious towing "off-road" you need a properly articulating vehicle/trailer hitch..like wot dem ham-fisted Squaddies use....then you can really abuse yer truck

He'll have to get it to a body-shop get it straighten on a jig.
I believe the new body is all in one system and not the separate chassis with body bolted on it.
Yes! there is only one Range Rover they ever made that was a work horse and sadly retired in 1995/6 and it takes one of these to remove a new one from the mud,
He'll have to buy a 110 Defender once the repair is fixed.
The tow bar maybe holding the stressed chassis, as it was the towbar that bent the chassis, so i'd get him to remove the whole bar then see if it makes any differents I doute it! but he could give it a try!
