Yeah I reckon its true!!! I'm gunna convert my boat engine then fit a scoop to the bottom that way my boat will run all day long and not cost me a penny. Plus I can collect some excess in my fuel tank that I can then transfer to my car and thus have free motoring too. Wicked

I do know it is possible to do the conversion but the process in doing so takes electricity and lots of it, so be prepared to line your car, boat or plane with 3 million tonnes of bateries. But yes it is possible to run your car on water. The reason why it has not taken off is that the fuel companys are buying out the dudes who make this process better, so this guy here is probably trying to spread the idea, without getting mr hitman round his house :P

anyway who knows, what can you lose hey apart from a couple of quid :P

Yeah it was on fith gear the other day!!! You have to seperate the hydrogen from the water which as as you said uses alot of electricity and I guess at present can't be done in the car itself. The car actually runs off hydrogen gass which it uses to make elctricity to power an electric motor that provides the propulsion. It exhausts water vapour!!! Called a fuel cell or something, its not an internal combustion engine.

You right about one thing, I suspect loads of alternative better fuels/technology's have been burried by oil company's and goverments over the years!!!
