You can't smoke in any enclosed public place now in England.
The two exceptions I have found;
Cigar shops (to try the smoke)
and Abracadabra Jermyn Street owned by Dave West of "Eastenders" cheap booze fame who is fighting the ban.
I even heard that if a health worker is visiting a house bound smoker, he must wait 20 minutes to enter the property since the last cigarette was extinguished.

I've heard some hookers still "smoke" on the job; but most of them have learned to slow down & use lubricant

The only one i was thinking about was on a film set. I'm surprised that you can smoke on stage in a theatre as there are members of the public present.

I suspected that when this was first posted, it had something to do with an hotel in Milford Haven during the Round Britain and the subsequent video tape.
