Unhappy Sorry...

OK, some of you, possibly correctly, thought I was a little “over the top” with my response to Codspawn, so I’ll tell you why, then I'll shut the feck' up; -

"I am fed up to the back teeth with the people who have no experience in a particular field offering their opinions, quite often gleaned from this Interweb thingy, as though they did. Last night was the final straw. A statement was made that the “fire brigade used Tirfors for lifting lorries” as though the statement maker, Codspawn, had experience of this. I, on the other hand, in a previous life, have lots of experience with using Tirfors and attending RTAs.. or whatever they’re called these days… and dealing with the blood, shit, snot and death that goes with that. So when a young “IT” yoof makes a statement as thought it were Gospel, I get a tad annoyed. It happens a lot over on RIBnet, which is why I spend more time on this forum, despite having a blow up boat. On RIBnet recently young Codders was holding forth on choice of gasses for welding. In my new life I have gained a bit of experience on welding and yet again we had an “IT” chappie holding forth from his vast experience…
When the same shit starts happening on a site that generally doesn’t have the same bullshit posted on it I get further annoyed. I mean I have seen some bullshit on here too… don’t get me wrong… but it’s mostly related to “top speed”… "

So to those good people I’ve pissed off with my somewhat aggressive response, I offer my apologies…. and apologies to all other “IT” bods… I’m sure a lot of you have experience and knowledge beyond the boundaries of your chosen profession…’cept Streako’ of course he’s still a “no-nothing Nobba”…
