I'm assuming thats you Nigel, and no its rare for me to be taking powerboat photo's now the last time that happened it was for a manufacturer, must have several thousand prints and transparancies stored away, another reason for my decline was the popularity of digital,i was not prepared to invest thousands more in a good digital body.

Pity you were so keen in the mid 80s & 90s, I can belive you when you say you have 1000 of pics....can remember how many rolls of film used every race, are there any on the boatmad gallery? Sent Dave at worldof... an email last year, he said he would pop in for a cupa sometime, do you still speak? as I know you did the USA thing years back, me & Dave did those wildcat boats, scared the crap out of me driving them

TIS a very small cat about the size of a tea tray for inshore racing, had an OMC engine with race gearcase and a few other mods, producing 70+ hp did 70+ at records week up in the chilly north. After a bit of trial and error on various boats Dave cut a deal with a famous inshore cat designer, moulds were then taken from the wooden cat and we made them in grp with the idea to run a field of boats in a one series class with OMC. OH and I flogged the then RACE BOAT MAGAZINE for Dave to the rest of the field

Between 91-94, we had the boats built, not a million miles from stonehenge, had quite a few built. the guys name was Pete been in the grp industry for ages, was a strange place in the middle of nowhere, many moulds lying around including kit cars. I think some of the moulds may have belonged to Jamie Whitmarsh does that sound right ?
