Very Spooky
This year we will experience 4 unusual dates.... 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11 ......... NOW try and figure this out.... take the last 2 digits of the year you were born plus the age you will be this year and it WILL EQUAL .... 111!
Try it on the rest of your family, it works out every time.
So, question, what does that figure mean?

Don't want to rain on your party Mike but of course it only works if you have already had this years birthday otherwise it would be 110.
In shock news if you do the same next year it will equal 112 in the year 2012 and there's going to be all sorts of funny dates coming out like 1/1/12, 2/1/12, 1/2/12, 2/2/12, 1/12/12, 2/12/12.
Don't even go there if you include the leading 20. 20/10/2010, 10/12/2010, 01/02/2010 etc etc
Oh and next year the world's going to end. http://survive2012.com/ which makes it a bit pointless that the maths will work the same in 2013 as we won't be here to prove it

The World can't end in 2012, I won't let it. There are things I have to do in 2013. I think the Mayans missed a nought out somewhere anyway.

Anyway I was out last enjoying a meal at a Thai restaurant. The waiter brings the bill for £30 so each person pays £10.
Later the chef realises that the bill should have only been £25 so he sends the waiter back to the table with £5. The waiter wasn't very good at Maths and couldn't figure out how to divide the £5 so he gave each person a £1 and kept £2 for himself.
So....the three people have paid £9 each for the meal.
9x3=27
The waiter kept £2
27+2 = £29
Who's got the other pound?

It's a simple trick of the mind like that 'where are the survivors buried' brain teaser. The 3x £9 (£27) actually paid in the end accounts for the £25 taken by the restaurant and the £2 taken by the waiter, £27 in total. This is the money the customers no longer have.
Therefore the only money not accounted for is actually the £3 given back to the customers which they do still have. £27 (Restaurant and waiter) + £3 (kept by customers) = £30.
