Go to Maplin, buy almost any of the PVR addin cards for your PC, plug the VHS into the card and you're up and running.

When you say 'computer footage', what do you actually mean?

are you intending to host it on the web, or just play it from your PC?

Also, just how high a quality you can have, depends hugely on how powerfull your PC is, in terms of it's video card & associated bollix. at least as far as playback.

for example, if it were converted to DVi, quality will be about as good as you'll get, but if your pc is pants, it'll stagger & fall over, and your viewing experience will be unhappy.

If you just want a wee bit doing, stick it in the post to me and I'll give you it as DVI and as a windows media video file, which'll play on anything, so you'll have the choice.
