Have to love the U.S weather. After a 7 hour delay at Newark waiting for a connecting flight upon my return from the U.K on Tuesday, we had a visit from 'Ernesto', a tropical storm that was just a few miles per hour down from being a full fledged hurricane.

Our benign little river looked like this at the height of it.

Couldn't post these pics earlier as we lost power for two and a half days. Spent most of yesterday and today trying to buy a generator.

Was looking a bit dodgy in the front garden as well during the storm.
