What's a "Banger"?
Can somebody tell me what a "Banger" is made of, how it's made, how it's eaten? Is it eaten in a bun, on a plate, what condiments are used, etc.
Somebody from your side of the pond has approached us to manufacture Banger's for resale over here.
Thanks
Fred

A 'banger' is a regular British Breakfast sausage. Usualy pork, or beef, or a combination of the two. pan fried, or grilled.
TD eats em by the dozen.

What would be different between a Banger and an American sausage? I know you've been over here Jon (thanks for the Cougar keys again!), how do you rate or compare Bangers to what you ate over here. Or did you wake up to late for breakfast!
Do you know what diameter casing is used?
Are they skinless, or made with natural casing?
Is there a bread filler, or is it simply meat and spices?
Would you consider the flavor profile as mild or hot?
Are Bangers emulsified/finely ground, or are they a course grind?

So they look like a natural casing product, and a bit on the course side.
I never heard of black pudding before - looks good.

Natural casing, although some people take the casing off when they cook them. Good ones are course - the supermarkets sell ground up cheap things but they are horrible!
Either with breakfast, so on a plate, or with mashed potatoes or in a bread roll off a bbq, condiments - mustard, ketchup, various fruity based ones if pork is used to make them.
