Yep - Central Scotland is white as well

Snowed heavily last night but gone "wet" this morning - fcst is to rain this afternoon so expect it will be all gone by this evening.

Kids have half inched the fertilzer bags to go and make the most of it!!!

Er. No. Boating season here ends in October.
We do get a lot of snow (3-4 metres each winter, 1.4 so far this year) but are equipped to deal with it......

That's correct. no snow here at the moment, we've had it bad in the past though, as my picture from 04 shows!

Why does this country stop when we get a tiny bit of the white stuff!

We went to Lapland a year ago and there is so much snow there for 6 months of the year! as the coach drives down the road there was a 6 to 8 feet high wall of snow at the side of the road, all the vehicles have rock hard tyres on them and never get stuck!!! we had about a foot here in Kent a few years ago and that was that for a week, no roads had been salted so driving was a BIG NO!
