Xmas Health and Safety

Please be aware of the following statistics during this festive season.

Since 1996 31 People have died from watering their xmas tree’s whilst the fairy lights were still switched on.

19 people have died in the last three years by eating xmas decorations they believed to be chocolate.

Hospitals reported 4 broken arms last year caused by cracker related accidents.

5 people were injured last year in accidents involving out of control scalelectrix cars.

In 1998 18 people received serious burns whilst trying a new xmas jumper on with a lit cigarette in their mouths.

On Average 3 people die every year whilst using their tongue to test if a 9 Volt battery works.
