A very nice boat but I don't think it ever went faster than the Phantom.
Me and Dad looked at a Phantom 21 years ago down Whitstable! had a V8 on a very very big outrigger! made the boat around 26 foot long!!!

At one time, there was talk of breaking away from the British Water Ski Federation (as was then) and forming their own ruling body so that they could field a Scottish team in World and European events. Slippo knows plenty of people in Hunstanton (some of which will still talk to him) and has a wealth of experience at all levels so I'm sure he could advise you. The only Scottish ski-racers I've spoken to recently have been at the Diamond race in Belgium.
Now Gary whats going on

Now then Mate,

Wonder where you had been hiding - whats the weather like back home, hot as f**k out here.

By the way, the wee one says yes for a ski when I get back home - If he is going to keep doing this I must get my drysuit repaired......

Magic

As far as i know Magic is still owned by D Dingwall and i lying about gathering dust somewhere near south queensferry. Scott Murray still lives in the kirkliston area. And does anyone remember the Barrry Larsson boats as they were presented well and ran with the best when they ran lol. Enrico Prentice also bought steven moores old twin rig waterbird

Fastest f2 i can femember from scotland was Yampower boat of billy millan. F3 most entertaing team was that of albert rinaldi, and the battles between the artful dodger and mossend railhead in f4. Oh and enrico with fhe only f1 in scotland

I remember it all lkie it was last week but time flys when you getting older, Surly someone can put a request it to get racing back at dunoon as was always fun ROUGH ROUGH ROUGH lol

Correct me if i'm wrong.
Geeezz that was a long time ago.
Was Magic a phantom?, if so there what looks like a ex race one in South Queensferry at top of the new estate to the west of the bridge.
I was dropping a guy off there and noticed it sitting there.

Fastest f2 i can femember from scotland was Yampower boat of billy millan.

I must have got mixed up the with the sponsor i remember def had an Italian a big he was too. many years ago

Did yampower build race engines, just coz i;ve got an old Yam 220 in the back of the workshop and it has yampower racing on the side of the power head.
I've only ever ran the engine on the muffs on the stand, sounds like it could be a little more than std though??

gazza. Why dont you give phil a phone at yampower in galsgow and he might be able to tell you all about it as he keeps detailed files on most of his work his number is 0141 778 5384 he is still the number one when it comes to tunning yams big and small.

Does anyone know what happened to david Mcmillan as i thought he was one of the most tallented guys in scotland he was just unlucky with injurys but boy could he and karen patterson drink lol
