Who wants to go to New Zealand
Nobody in the UK up for going to New Zealand then??
BRITISH TEAM CAPTAIN TONY WILLIAMS WRITES ...
(on WWSR Yahoo mailing list)
"Dear water ski racer,
Great Britain is keen to enter a full team in the forthcoming World Championships and it already has some world class skiers who will head up that team. However, GB is unable to form a full team at this stage.
I would like to hear from internationally competitive ski racers who are not currently living in the UK but who hold a British passport and would like to be considered for British team selection. You must not have previously represented any other country at a world championship event."
Does this mean if u can ski then u would be considered?
Skiers on pairs, hands out front, representing team GB??

Makes you wonder who he's thinking of. The only competitive skier I can think of not living in England would be Nikki Carpenter.

Hey everyone I know all the organisers are working really hard to put on a top event for the worlds here in New Zealand. Racing on two lakes fantastic scenery, I would be surprised if anyone actually goes home after they have seen New Zealand.
As far as the cost of shipping boats Why don't you look at getting boats out of Australia only a short blast across the ditch to New Zealand, loads of F1 and F2 boats avaliable, and the local boats for F2 will give a good fight.
There are quite a few 300s around and keen drivers too.
My F2 boat is not required by the NZ team so is avaliable.
Maybe advertise on our NZ ski racing web site in the trading page for boats also.
It would be great to have full teams from all the countries down under in New Zealand for whats shaping up to be an awseome event.
Cheers
Roger
