72 inch cat 4x outboards

This is one I have inbuilt at the moment which I will finish before I start the next one

Yes it was something I wanted to build should go quite nice won’t be the fastest thing in the world but Will look very good on the water

What hull is it they are on? Not bad going finding 4 of those graupner outboards, don't see many around.

I bought 3 of them brand-new and one secondhand I have fitted all steel gears to the gearboxes and 2000kv Motors

i real like what you are building here Keith , keep us up to date on this one

and do you have more of them adaptor plates for the gtx800 to go to brushless engines ? and can you change the gears inside the gearbox ?

Hi there

Hi there No adapters where required for these motors I am using I will try and find pictures And yes I have change the gears had to reschedule them they are now running with Engine oil

Modifications To gtx800

Here is some pictures of the modifications i made to the gearboxes I have change the gears for motif which is stronger as there is more surface area I have put twin bearings in and shamed the gears are now running with engine oil hopefully they will last much better there is a couple of pictures of the motor If you use the outside screws which hold the motor together take two of them out opposite each other they line At perfect you do you have to mess with the screws to get them to Bolt together
